👋 I am an experimental biophysicist — doing science the DIY way.
🧬 + 🔭 I look at Biology🧬 through the lens of a Physicist🔭, building whatever instruments that lens requires.
🦠 Right now that means active matter and microswimmers — I study how Chlamydomonas reinhardtii swims over long timescales.
🔬 Under the alias Trappy-Scopes, I design and build the parallel microscopy hardware that makes this possible: 3D-printed frames, embedded firmware, tracking pipelines, all the way down.
🤝 I’m looking to collaborate on all things unknown.
